Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 1, 2026
Your images are personal. This policy explains what information Lensoflow collects, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Lensoflow website, web app, and mobile apps.
Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account we collect your name and email address. If you sign in with Google or Apple we receive your name and email address from them, nothing more.
Your content. We store the images and videos you upload, together with the technical metadata embedded in those files, such as the capture time, camera details, and location coordinates if your device recorded them.
Usage and device information. We collect basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and which features you use. We use it to keep Lensoflow secure, reliable, and fast.
Payment information. Payments are handled entirely by our payment providers. We receive confirmation of your plan and payment status, but we never see or store your card details.
How we use your information
We use your information to run Lensoflow: storing and organizing your images, powering search, generating highlights and memories, enabling the sharing features you choose to use, and sending you service messages about your account.
We also use third party product analytics and error monitoring tools to understand how the service performs, find and fix problems, and decide where to improve. These tools may be linked to your account through an internal identifier, but we configure them to collect only IDs and usage events, never your images, names, or email addresses. We do not sell your personal information, we do not show ads, and we do not use your images for advertising or profiling.
Automated image analysis
When you upload an image, our systems automatically create a short written description of what it shows so that you can find it later by describing it in plain language. To do this, a reduced size copy of the image is processed by our AI provider, OpenAI, under an agreement that forbids using your content to train their models. The copy is deleted after processing.
The descriptions and the search index built from them are visible only to you and the people you share with, and they are deleted together with the image they belong to.
Cookies
Lensoflow uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language preference, plus a small amount of cookies and local storage for our product analytics, which help us understand how the service is used and detect errors. We do not use advertising cookies or cross site tracking, and we never sell your data.
Storage and security
Your files are stored in data centers operated by Amazon Web Services and are encrypted at rest. Personal account details such as your name and email address are additionally encrypted at the database level, and all traffic between your device and Lensoflow is encrypted in transit.
Vault content gets a second, separate layer of encryption protected by a code that only you know. We cannot open, reset, or recover your vault. That is the point of it.
When others can see your content
Your images are private by default. Other people can only see them after you take a sharing action: adding images to a shared collection, hosting or contributing to a Live Wall, creating a share link, or presenting a slideshow.
Anyone who has a share link you created can view the content behind it, so share links carefully. You can stop sharing or revoke a link at any time and access ends immediately.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to run Lensoflow: Vercel and Amazon Web Services for hosting and storage, OpenAI for image analysis, Polar, Apple, and Google for payment processing, and third party product analytics and error monitoring providers that help us understand usage and diagnose problems. Each one processes data on our behalf, only to the extent needed to provide their service to us, and under data processing agreements. We never sell your data to anyone.
Data retention and deletion
Your content stays in your account until you delete it. When you delete an image, it disappears from your library, collections, and search immediately and is erased from our storage systems and backups within 30 days.
When you delete your account, all of your images, descriptions, search data, and personal details are permanently deleted on the same schedule. Images you contributed to someone else's collection or Live Wall may remain there; you can remove them before deleting your account.
Your rights
You can access, export, correct, or delete your information at any time from your account settings.
Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights to receive a copy of your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
Lensoflow is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 16 has created an account, contact us and we will delete the account and its data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Lensoflow evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or inside the app before they take effect. The latest version is always available on this page.
